Noel Kalanga
MBBS, MMScDr. Noel Kalanga is a general medical practitioner, a lecturer, and a global health implementation scientist. He received his medical degree from the College of Medicine - University of Malawi, and a Master of Medical Sciences in Global Health Delivery from Harvard Medical School. He is currently studying for a doctorate in Global Health- Implementation Science at the University of Washington. He previously worked with the Malawi Ministry of Health for two years before joining Partners in Health Malawi, where he served as a Medical Director overseeing the delivery of Essential Health Package (EHP) and the implementation of an integrated chronic care clinic in Neno District.
Dr Kalanga now holds a faculty position with the Department of Health Systems and Policy at Kamuzu University of Health Sciences, where he successfully led the curriculum development and establishment of the Master’s degree in Global Health Implementation. He was awarded an MHIRST research fellowship in 2021 and his research interest is on health systems strengthening.
